Saw these yellow plants as I was walking past the INIA station in Tambo, just outside Huancayo. Erica is now testing them for phytoplasma. Thought it could be a Fusarium, but there's no staining in the roots and the proliferation of shoots and yellowing looks more phytoplasma-y (Nigel agrees).

Pablo Franco from CIAT-Bolivia describes corn stunt, a phytoplasma disease. Recently found around the CIP station in Huancayo, Perú, the infection still has to be confirmed. But it's as near as damn it. Nigel (Harrison of IFAS) agrees.
